Its been awhile

I spend half my day on a computer, working on other peoples webpages, and I never seem to find the time to work on my own!

Lets see where things stand...

1. Paid the truck off 6 months early, so thats like a pay raise all by itself
2. Sold my Cargo Trailer and bought a Toyhauler.
3. The blonde bought herself a 2007 Ford Focus.
4.  Im still drag racing the truck. New Best time of 15.55 in the quarter. Still on stock injectors, but I blew up my stock TP38 turbo, so I now have a Garrett GTP38R and also installed a set of Piers Diesel Research Bellows style up-pipes. Can you say 30psi of boost? I knew you could.
5. The Northwest Ford Diesels website that I run is going strong, with TONS of new members, even more events, and we have been outnumbering 
the Dodge guys almost 2 to 1 at the NHRDA races so far this year.
6. Still havnt painted the house, still havnt finished the trim work, but I did install HID lights on my YFZ450 quad. Talk about BRIGHT! Might have to put HIDs on the truck next.
7. Maybe some day I will update this page and add all the changes to the truck I've made. Im pretty good about keeping the ATV pictures updated, but Ive been horrible about the truck pages.

Nothing terribly new to add.

I bought a beater 1990 Ford Bronco-II to drive back and forth to work so I dont tear up the Pavement Princess by daily driving my tow rig. I bought a little ford ranger awhile back to do the same thing with, but it had more issues than I wanted to deal with, so I sold it.

The Blonde's 1998 Mercury Mystake ate its transmission, so I sent it down the road too. Tired of fixing that car. Prolly end up getting a new Ford Focus or something with a warranty!

Speaking of work, Im still working at the Boat Yard. They had a pretty high turnover rate for awhile, and according to the guys I work with, if you last more than 3 months, your either pretty good, or there's something wrong with you for putting up with them. I guess there's something wrong with me :D . Its not difficult work, its your standard wrench turning, but since its on boats that can potentially sink, the quality has to be above perfect, and access can be extremely difficult. The cuts on my hands and arms would make a suicide counselor VERY worried!

One side benefit tho, is after work, its not uncommon for a bunch of ppl to jump into a sailboat or two and head out onto the river for a coule hours. I've found that I dont mind sailing, but I wouldnt want to own a sailboat. I'll stick to low profile jet boats with really big engines!

I need to overhaul this webpage. I've started with the main blog, but I need to go thru all the ATV and truck pics and resort them into something a little easier to navigate. Im a big fan of the "Less is more" when it comes to webpages, as I think the big flashy sites lose more than they gain from all the crap flying at you from all over the screen.

I havnt done too much new stuff to the truck. I did install the updated 2005 grille and headlights that I bought off craigslist, and finally installed my fender flares (pocket style), but still need to get them painted.

Im still racing the truck in the NHRDA when I can make the races, and I was actually points leader for awhile, but since I cant make all the races, that hurts me in the points standings. I havnt done any motor mods either, so Im still high 15's and low 16's depending on track temp.

OK, back to wrenching on this thing......
